The Muvi Atom's tiny size does not compromise quality, recording at 640x480 at 30 FPS using Frame Rate Enhancement technology. The Atom also introduces the ability to take photo snapshots at 1280x960 and comes bundled with the 2GB micro SD card and sports mounting kit.
It comes with additional strap and clip attachments, making the device fast in a variety of positions.
One user report claims an Atom had been run over by a 4x4 and yet survived with minor scratches, to record again.
The Atom comes with a 2GB micro SD card and supports up to 16GB.
There’s no LCD display so all information is conveyed with just two tiny LED status indicators – red for standby or USB connectivity and green for media capture or memory card activity. Buttons on the side handle power, voice actuation, video and still image capture.
